Gabrielle is a visual artist whose focus is photography, but she’s working to eventually delve into multiple aspects of visual art. She is primarily a lifestyle, portrait, concert, and event photographer. Born & raised in Memphis, she grew up only seeing the city on a surface level but her camera has allowed her to view the reality of her hometown, as well as numerous other cities, through a new lens. Through her viewfinder, she has not only been able to see and capture a plethora of moments and memories, but also find and showcase community, opportunity, struggle, excitement, and reality with the press of her shutter.

For Gabrielle, her camera became her escape, her solace, and her edge. Photography brought her into social circles she’d never imagined being around, let alone becoming a part of.

Just taking a moment to embrace all of God’s creation for what it is brings about a new level of peace that she didn’t know prior to picking up a camera. Lastly, photography has created an essence of unapologetic unpredictability to her skill set and broadened her overall contribution to the world. A Business and Philosophy double major, Gabrielle is known only in some spaces for her work with a camera. All in all, if you’re looking from the outside in, you’ll only see a snapshot of what she’s all about.
